Curry
munchers
Hunger is the most powerful craving in the world, especially
for the foodies like me and some of my friends who continuously are in search
of food and related schemes which could satisfy the craving with some economic
benefits. Few days before this ubiquitous sensation again gripped me and I was
again on streets searching for some new place. Zomato which is the new weapon
for searching food places gave us the new area to search for.
I (along with one friend) came to vasant arcade (randomly) to
satisfy my burning starvation. This is quite a happening place in here. The
most difficult task is to choose a place among plethora of small size shops
offering almost same kind of dishes. We being a vegetarian group started
comparing menu of different shops and reach to a small shop in the last corner
called “Curry munchers”. Here came the most funniest part, shop owner some
sardaarji came and said “ tussi ki khaoge” we said that we are vegetarian and
looking for some vegetarian dish to fill out heavy urging of stomach. He
instantly suggested that try “tandoori momo” of our shop and if you do not find
it delicious enough I will give your entire money back. We gave it a thought,
and gave it a nod, because essential part of being a foodie is being
experimental always.
A typical small road side shop with chair table arrangement
does not attract you when you are roaming simply around in the area but once
the food was served and I had my first bite I can tell you that these were the
most amazing momos I have ever had. My mouth filled with water and literally I
realized the god being present in my mouth, truly a blissful moment. I really
thanked paaji for delicious momos and have made 4 visits in last 15 days with
different friends.
If you are a true foodie and there is vegetarian constraint
involved than you must go and try it to have godly feeling of consuming momos
with mouth watering “chutney”. I must say that for a taste like this ambience
might be compromised. Additionally to this budget part is also manageable and
will certainly resonate with your pockets.
